Officers responded to Orchard Drive after receiving several calls reporting a single car motor vehicle crash into a telephone pole. On arrival officers found the telephone pole snapped and wires down. This resulted in a temporary power outage for the area. The driver, a 23 year old Borough resident, who was subsequently placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
